TRAINING / COURSES
FOR PARENTS AND PROFESSIONALS
Empowering parents / carers to help themselves
Much of my work is with parent / carer groups, either online or in person.
I am regularly booked by parent carer forums, charity groups working with families, schools and professionals wanting to support the families they work with.
I offer a variety of sleep courses which are very popular; I can also develop a bespoke course to meet the needs of your parent or professional group.
Two Part Sleep Course
Two sessions of two hours, explaining how sleep works and how SEND makes sleep harder
PDA and Sleep
A one off session looking at how PDA affects sleep and how you can help
Sensory Processing and Sleep
A one off session looking at how sensory processing differences affect sleep
Co-Sleeping with your SEND child
A one off session looking at the reasons for co-sleeping in children with additional needs
Autism / ADHD and Sleep
A one off session looking at how these two conditions affect sleep
Teenagers, Hormones, Puberty and Sleep
A one off session looking at how puberty affects sleep
Please note that prices will rise from 1st April 2024
Existing quotes and bookings will be honoured at previous rates
Charities and Parent Groups
I keep my costs affordable for charities and parent groups but also ensure that my time taken to arrange, write, prepare and travel to courses is covered.
2 part sleep course £220 (4 hours plus preparation and follow up)
2 hour one off sleep course £110 (2 hours plus preparation and follow up)
In addition I ask for £50 for travel to an in person course within a 35 mile radius of Buxton, Derbyshire - this covers my transport and part of my travel time
I also offer staff training for professionals, organisations and schools.
Costs are dependent on numbers, travel and preparation time: please send me a message via the contact button to enquire.
So much material covered in such an accessible way. It's rare to find anyone who understands the difficulties families have with autistic/ADHD children and to offer understandable and meaningful help
